Even the keenest of cooks likes a hand in the kitchen every now and then – especially if it frees you up to have a bit of fun. Our ready made party food does just that, the hard work has all been done in our kitchens, to save you spending too much time in yours. We’ll COOK, so you can party.
Drinks and Nibbles
For easy party food, drinks and nibbles are perfect. Canapés are always a winner, easy to hold in one hand with a glass in the other. The general rule of thumb is: for pre-dinner drinks, about four per person per hour; for a drinks party, up that to six. But one of the many joys of frozen is that you can simply take out what you need on the night and the rest can stay in the freezer for another occasion – so, if you choose to stock up on party food to order and don’t end up using everything, it definitely won’t get wasted.
Help yourself buffet
A buffet also makes great party food, as guests can help themselves without you having to get involved. Plus, having lots of different component parts usually means there’s something for everyone. Our Quiches are always really popular, serving 10-12, as are our Pies … our hand-prepared shortcrust pastry has a way of winning over most people. On that note – don’t forget Sausage Rolls – they’re pretty much synonymous with easy buffet food.
You might also want to include some vegetarian party food when you have your party food delivered. And, if needs be, we also have dairy free party food as well as gluten free party food. If you end up not needing any dietary specific options on the day, they can always stay in the freezer for another occasion. It’s reassuring to know you’ve got something on standby, so you’re not caught out.
Sitting down together
Party food doesn’t have to be “picky” though, you can of course sit down at the table all together. In which case, you might want a few dinner party starters, dinner party mains and dinner party puddings. All of which we can help with.
