We need to radically rethink how food works in Britain, for the good of our health and the planet. Recipes for Change is all about making meals that are better for people, farmers, and nature, without sacrificing taste or affordability. We don’t have all the answers but we’re on the journey, staying true to what makes a COOK meal special.

Great taste and great animal welfare goes hand-in-hand. Our commitment has been recognised by five awards from Compassion in World Farming, the leading animal welfare charity.
As well as keeping us fed, farmers are stewards of the delicate natural balance of our countryside, protecting soil health and wildlife. We’re getting to grips with our own carbon emissions as well as supporting them to reduce theirs.
97% of our suppliers, by spend, are taking action to reduce carbon emissions.

Better for nature. Better for farmers. Better for you.
We’re working to make our recipes as delicious as you’d expect from COOK, while mitigating the impact on the world our children will inherit.
Decarbonising COOK continues to be a long, hard road, but collaborating with farmers and suppliers, we’re making progress.

With help from our charity partners, we’re working to reduce, reuse and redistribute the surplus food in our four kitchens.
