Cooking/Serving Instructions

These cooking instructions are only a guide. Your appliance may have a personality of its own (or a different power rating). Please adjust accordingly.

Oven:

Preheat oven. Remove sleeve and pierce both film lids. Place the curry on a baking tray on the middle shelf of the oven. Cook for 15 mins, then add the rice and cook both the curry and rice for a further 15 mins.

Oven Settings

Fan 180°C, Electric 200°C, Gas Mark 6.

Stir well and allow to stand for 2 mins before serving.

Microwave:

Remove the sleeve & pierce the film on both tray - these need to be cooked individually. Microwave the curry first & allow to stand while you cook the rice. Place on a microwaveable plate & cook on full power, for the time required.

Curry: 3 mins > stir & re-cover > 1 min 30 secs. Rice: 2 mins
Ensure both are piping hot & stir well before serving.

Defrost Instructions:

Should this product defrost, keep refrigerated and cook within 48 hours. Follow the oven guidelines but cook the curry on a baking tray for 15 mins, adding the rice and cooking both for a further 15 mins.

Extra Warnings:

Steam may be released when removing film lid. Although every care has been taken to remove bones some may remain.
