Valentine's Day Main Courses

Once you’ve chosen your main course for Valentine’s Day, if you want to turn the meal into a feast, then do check out our Valentine side dishes, Valentines starters and Valentines desserts too. Having a few different courses around your Valentine’s main course can make a meal feel that bit more special, especially if you’re trying to create the perfect Valentine’s meal for two.


Start with something special

First impressions last, so a good starter is a good plan. You can choose a couple of different options if you want to play safe … one of the joys of frozen appetisers and Valentine's mains is that it really minimises waste as whatever you don’t need on the evening, can stay in the freezer for another time.


The main event

If you’re after a bit of inspiration for your Valentine’s Day main course, you can’t beat a Wellington. But cooking a wellington from scratch is a bold move. That’s where we come in. Our chefs have done all the hard work in our kitchens to save you any trouble in yours. Just make sure you get the oven and baking tray up to temperature before cooking to avoid a ‘soggy bottom’ (not a good look when you’re trying to impress).


Don’t forget pudding

A good pud is a great way to end the meal on a high note. Consider this your happily ever after. Have a think about whether you’d like something hot or cold, chocolatey or fruity … and if you really can’t decide, there’s always the joyfully simple option of both.
