Handmade to a 40 year-old family recipe, a classic Christmas pudding made with vine fruits and citrus peel soaked in Sussex Stout, with a delicate warmth from winter spices and a dash of brandy.

Cooking/Serving Instructions

Defrost Instructions:
(850W): Remove sleeve and film under the lid. Cover loosely with lid and cook on full power for 1 min. Allow product to rest for 1 min and ensure piping hot before serving. To Steam: Remove sleeve and film under the lid. Replace lid and steam as per the steamer’s instructions. If steaming in a saucepan, remove sleeve, lid and film. Replace lid and cover with foil securely to prevent water reaching the pudding. Inside a suitably sized saucepan place the pudding on a trivet and add boiling water to surround ½ of its height. Steam with the saucepan lid on for 30 mins or until product is piping hot. Regularly check water levels.

Replace lid and cover with foil securely to prevent water reaching the pudding.. Inside a suitably sized saucepan, place the pudding on a trivet and add boiling water to surround 1/3 of its height. Steam with the saucepan lid on for 1hr 40mins or until the product is piping hot. Regularly check the water levels.
