There’s more to summer puddings than summer puddings. Our summer desserts are handmade by our chefs using the same ingredients you’d want to at home – fresh local cream, good chocolate and plump berries – so while they’re made in our kitchen, they’ll look and taste like they’ve been made in yours. Summer Desserts

Summer’s the best season for spontaneous get-togethers. When the sun makes an appearance, it’s lovely enjoying it together. So, it’s not a bad idea to keep some of our frozen summer desserts on standby in the freezer in summer 2026 – if you’re hosting or invited out. Here are a few ideas …


Chocolate Summer Puddings

It’s got to be Chocolate Roulade or Chocolate & Raspberry Roulade … just don’t forget to defrost for 6 hours at room temperature or 10-11 hours in the fridge but do remove the dessert from all packaging and place on a serving dish to defrost whilst it’s still frozen – you’ll find it much easier to handle.


Light Summer Desserts

A Classic Lemon Tart is a great summer pud, just defrost and serve with some fresh berries. Or our Mango & Passion Fruit Cheesecake is good as it’s available in a larger 6-8 portion size, as well as individual cheesecakes if you’re looking for some lighter puddings for summer.

We’ve got lots of Great Taste Award winners to choose from – our Lemon Meringue Pavlova and Apricot & Orange Almond Torte to name a few. One of the many joys of frozen is that it’s easy to manage … use what you need on the day and leave the rest of your easy summer dessert in the freezer for another occasion. If you have decided to fill the freezer so you've always got some easy summer puds on standby (along with any summer starters, summer buffet food, vegetarian summer meals, healthy summer meals or summer family meals you may want), then it might be simpler to buy online and have all your frozen summer desserts delivered. When your delivery arrives, don't forget to check the cooking or defrost instructions, as they do vary and we don't want you to get caught out.
