Great Taste Awards 2016
Recently the chatter in the COOK Kitchen has been all about our medal chances. No, not the Olympics, but the annual Great Taste Awards – the most important foodie awards in the country.
Finally, the wait is over and the judges have made their decision. We are over the moon to announce the following are all 2016 winners:
Beef Madras (2 stars)
Lebanese Chicken with Olives & Peppers
Roasted Pepper & Goat's Cheese Quiche
Slow-cooked Lamb Shanks (2 stars)
Smoked Haddock, Bacon & Sweet Potato Gratin (2 stars)
We’d also like to congratulate our friends over at The Ice Kitchen, makers of the world’s best lollies, for their Awards. And also to Pure Kent: their rapeseed oil we’re about to use extensively at COOK just picked up a star, too!
