Here's our development chef Lyndsay introducing our new Pork and Fennel Polpette:

Serving Suggestions

These meatballs (or 'polpette' in Italian) are perfect as part of a tapas style dinner for friends - Lyndsay shows us how to pull it together below:

Other ideas:
- You could serve this with spaghetti; grate some Parmesan or grana padano over the top and freshly chopped parsley/and or basil. For an extra flourish, toast some pine nuts and sprinkle over the top.

- A great accompaniment would be a fresh baby spinach, basil and rocket salad. Take all 3 ingredients and dress with extra virgin olive oil, a squeeze of lemon and Parmesan shavings.

- If you’re a fan of fennel, you could quarter or slice a couple of fennel bulbs and roast it as a side dish or extra garnish. Roasting the fennel gives it a lovely sweet flavor and you lose the strong aniseed flavor and scent, which isn’t always to everyone’s taste.  Quarter (or slice as thinly as possible) the bulbs, add to a roasting dish, drizzle with olive oil, season with salt, pepper and sugar (the sugar is very important – it transforms fennel!). If you like a kick, introduce a sprinkling of chilli flakes.
