  • We oven roast the butternut squash and beetroot in rapeseed oil and thyme.
  • We make our own homemade red onion marmalade by slow-cooking them until sweet and sticky. It balances the earthy flavours of the beetroot perfectly.
  • We finish it with vegan puff pastry which forms a lovely crisp base when served upside down as a proper tarte tatin.

Cooking/Serving Instructions

OVEN COOK FROM FROZEN

Oven:

Preheat oven. Remove from outer box, leaving the tatins in their pots. Place on a baking tray in the middle of the oven allowing space between the pots, to allow for an even cook.

Oven Settings

Fan 200°C, Electric 220°C, Gas Mark 7.

Remove from the oven and run a knife around the tatins. Turn the pot upsidedown onto a plate and remove both pot and silicon paper to serve. If cooking more than 2 from frozen add an additional 5 mins. Make sure food is piping hot before serving.

Defrost Instructions:

Should this product defrost, keep refrigerated and eat within 48 hours. Follow the oven guidelines but cook for 25 mins.
