COOK woodland turkeys are raised to the highest welfare standards on small farms in East Anglia and have been recognised with a Good Turkey Award by Compassion In World Farming. They are reared outdoors in woodlands with freedom to roam 24hrs a day.

How We Make It At Our Kitchen

  • We butterfly the breast, add a parsley and lemon rub to the centre and shape it into a cushion.
  • We then top the turkey with the pork & apricot stuffing from Speldhurst butchers, the same as in our other turkeys, and add dried cranberries to the mix.
  • Finally, the whole turkey is then wrapped in streaky bacon and finished with a lemon slice and bay leaf.

How to store your Christmas Dinner Bundle...

Here is an example of our Christmas Dinner Bundle for 8 on how we recommend storing your bundle in the freezer.

  • Make sure you clear out your freezer!
  • Remove the turkey from the packaging and place it in the drawer. 
  • Place sprouts besides it.
  • Remove the potatoes, carrots & parsnips from the packaging and pop them into seperate freezer bags.
  • Gravy goes in the back & don't forget the stuffing!
  • Place the pigs in blankets on top.
  • And lastly, don't forget to cut out the instructions so you don't loose them!
