"My favourite dish is Lamb Tagine. The lamb is always beautifully cooked and isn't fatty, the heat of the spices is just right for me and the taste is delicious. If you haven't tried it, please do."

Love Eating Well:

This dish clocks in at under a third of the Reference Intake (RI) for calories, sugar, salt, fat and saturated fat for an adult … and are made just like you would at home.

Please note that, depending on what and how much you serve with the dish, it may creep over a third of your RI. But that shouldn’t be an issue if it’s your main meal of the day.

  • Our frozen Moroccan Spiced Lamb Tagine has won loads of Great Taste Awards.
  • Made with diced leg of lamb so there’s lots of lean and tasty meat.
  • Prunes, a traditional lamb tagine ingredient, bring sweetness and naturally thicken the sauce.

Try it with:

  • Cauliflower couscous: whiz up raw cauliflower in a blender; pan fry it for five minutes with olive oil, plenty of Moroccan spices and fresh coriander. A great gluten free meal.
  • For the traditional accompaniment to a Moroccan Lamb Tagine, go for Minted Couscous. You can add some natural yoghurt or sour cream, with some fresh mint as a garnish.
  • Delicious served on warmed flatbreads with Greek yoghurt, pomegranate seeds and coriander.
