Our 4-portion turkeys have now sold out - that includes our Christmas Dinner Bundle for 4, and our Turkey with Pork & Cranberry Stuffing for 4. However, we still have turkeys for 2, 8 and 12.

  • We have butterflied part of the breast, added a parsley and lemon centre (not stuffing) and shaped it into a cushion.
  • The turkey is topped with the pork & apricot stuffing from Speldhurst butchers, the same as in our other turkeys, and added dried cranberries to the mix.
  • The whole turkey is wrapped in streaky bacon and finished with a lemon slice and bay leaf. 

Try it with:

  • Perfect addition for your Christmas dinner or lunch. 
  • Pair it with some warm steamed vegetables.
  • Left overs, or not even, just buy one to do this.. Stuffed turkey baguette with gem lettuce, crispy bacon, buffalo sauce and ranch dressing. 

All our COOK turkeys are raised outdoors on a small farm in East Anglia with freedom to roam on a pasture or in woodland 24hrs a day with a 100% natural diet. This has been recognised with a Good Turkey Award from the charity Compassion in World Farming.

*Please note: the turkey needs defrosting before cooking. It takes a minimum of 48 hours to defrost in the fridge, or 12hrs at room temperature. Please refer to defrost instructions on pack.

AT COOK WE USE THE SAME INGREDIENTS YOU WOULD USE AT HOME.

We never put additives or preservatives into our food. We do occasionally use kitchen cupboard ingredients that include some additives in their sub-ingredients (for example Worcestershire Sauce used in our Spaghetti Bolognese, which contains Tamarind Extract).

Cooking/Serving Instructions

These cooking instructions are only a guide. Your appliance may have a personality of its own (or a different power rating). Please adjust accordingly.

DEFROST BEFORE COOKING

Defrost Instructions:

Remove from packaging, place in dish and cover. Defrost for at least 48 hours in the fridge or 12 hours at room temperature. Ensure it is fully defrosted before cooking. Once defrosted, keep your turkey in the fridge.

OVEN COOK

Oven:

Preheat oven. Place in a roasting tin, cover with foil and cook in middle of oven for 45 mins. Remove the foil and continue to cook for a further 50 mins. Before removing from the oven, use a fork or skewer to pierce the centre of the meat, the juices need to run clear with no hint of redness.

Oven Settings

Fan 180°C, Electric 200°C, Gas Mark 6.
45 mins > remove foil > 50 mins
Ensure piping hot and allow to rest for 10 mins before carving. These cooking instructions are only a guide. Extra Warnings:

Please be aware that the bacon causes the turkey to turn pink, this is normal and does not mean that the turkey is not cooked. Although every care has been taken to remove bones and fruit stones some may remain. This Turkey is raw. As with all raw poultry, be sure to wash your hands after handling and carefully clean surfaces, chopping boards and all equipment you use in its preparation.
