How We Make It At Our Kitchen

Made by hand by our expert pastry team, this is a classic flavour combination for Christmas. French all-butter puff pastry is cut into little squares and pressed into canapé trays. They are then filled with Chiltern ham, French brie and topped with cranberry, port and orange chutney. When cooked in the oven at home, the pastry puffs up to surround the melting brie.

Ingredients

AT COOK WE USE THE SAME INGREDIENTS YOU WOULD USE AT HOME.

We never put additives or preservatives into our food. We do occasionally use kitchen cupboard ingredients that include some additives in their sub-ingredients (for example Worcestershire Sauce used in our Spaghetti Bolognese, which contains Tamarind Extract).

Puff Pastry (42%) [Milk, Wheat Gluten], Brie (20%) [Milk], Cranberry Sauce with Port (20%), Cooked Ham (19%).

Puff Pastry contains: Wheat Flour, Butter, Water, Salt. Cooked Ham contains: UK Pork, Salt, Stabilisers (Triphosphates, Diphosphates, Polyphosphates), Antioxidant (Sodium Ascorbate), Preservative (Sodium Nitrate, Sodium Nitrite). Cranberry Sauce with Port contains: Raw Cane Sugar, Cranberries, Citrus Pectin, Vinegar, Port, Lemon Juice.

Cooking/Serving Instructions

These cooking instructions are only a guide. Your appliance may have a personality of its own (or a different power rating). Please adjust accordingly.

OVEN COOK FROM FROZEN

Oven:

Preheat oven. Remove the outer packaging but leave the canapés in the tray. Cook in the centre of the oven.

Oven Settings

Fan 180°C, Electric 200°C, Gas Mark 6.
20 mins
Once cooked, ensure the puff pastry is golden brown and crisp. Cook for longer if necessary to achieve this finish. Allow to rest in the tray for 1 min before lifting out onto a plate. Allow to rest for a further minute before serving. When cooking more than one pack of canapés at a time, allow extra cooking time.

Defrost Instructions:

Should this product defrost, keep refrigerated and eat within 48 hours. Follow the oven guidelines but cook for 15 mins.
