Tell Me More
- We only cook with higher welfare, British Chicken. Read more.
- Coq au Vin really is a true French classic. Full of flavour (and wine) this is as French as an onion seller in a stripy shirt and a beret cycling past the Eiffel Tower humming La Marseillaise.
- The alcohol from the wine and brandy evaporates during cooking. So a glass of wine with dinner isn’t out of the question!
- A great option if you have a lot of mouths to feed. Just defrost in the fridge overnight, add a splash of water to the pan, and stick it on the hob until piping hot.
Try it with:
- Our Creamy Mash is a simple but delicious accompaniment.
- If you’re entertaining, try this Coq au Vin with Dauphinoise Potatoes and tenderstem broccoli or Peas & Leeks.
