Tell Me More

  • The last word in luxurious comfort food, hand-prepared by the chefs in our Kitchen
  • Cooks straight from frozen
  • The venison comes from Ben Rigby Game, a family-run business with 40 years’ experience. For their venison, they work with The Royal Parks and The Forestry Commission to source wild deer from sustainable forests and managed estates

Try It With

Wine Pairing

  • For a rich, warming casserole like this, you will need a rice red wine. Try a Bandol, a Malbec or an Australian Shiraz.

How We Make It

  • We slow cook the diced venison in red wine with cinnamon, ginger and crushed juniper berries.
  • Roasted mushrooms and chestnuts are added.
  • We stir through a dollop of redcurrant jelly and of cranberry sauce, as the sweetness really compliments to venison.
