Terms and conditions ("the Terms") applicable to the Gourmet Dinner for 2 prize competition ("the Competition")

1. The Competition is organised by COOK Trading Ltd ("COOK") whose registered address is The COOK Kitchen, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10 3HH. By entering the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. The Competition is open to residents of the UK and Channel Islands aged 18 or over. Employees and agents of COOK and their associated companies (including the families of such employees and agents) are not eligible to enter the Competition, nor is anyone connected with the Competition. The eligibility of any entrant is at COOK's sole discretion.
3. All entries, whether made on the website or in store must be received by COOK by 11:59pm on Friday 28th February 2014.
4. Only one entry per household. No purchase necessary. All automated/bulk entries and entries from third parties will be disqualified.
5. COOK does not assume any responsibility, and cannot accept any liability, for lost, damaged or incomplete entries submitted in store or for any lost or incomplete website entries or any technical fault or failed electronic data transmission. Any and all such entries will be deemed invalid. Proof of dispatch shall not be proof of entry.
6. The prize-winner will be chosen at random. COOK reserves the right to request written proof of age or identity of any entrant before they may claim a prize.
7. The prize is 52 COOK meals - consisting of 52 two-portion main meals from the COOK range, one for each week of the year, for one calendar year, from the date the prize is awarded. This food prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.  NB: If you only want dinner for one, the prize will consist of 52 one portion meals (and the equivalent value thereof).  Limited edition meals are excluded from the selection of meals available.
8. The prize-winner will be notified by email within three weeks of the Closing Date. If we don't hear from the winner within two weeks of contact, we will choose another winner.
9. The name of the prize-winner may be used in publicity by COOK.
10. If the winner is within the catchment area of a COOK shop they will be issued with a voucher for ‘a years worth of 2 portion main meals’ and their prize must be collected in store (even if that shop does local delivery). If the winner does not have a local COOK shop but is within the range of our national home delivery service we will arrange for the prize to be delivered in up to 6 parts over the course of a year. The winner can select their prize from any applicable COOK dishes in stock at the time of order. Should any selected dishes go out of stock prior to collection/dispatch, COOK reserves the right to substitute an alternative product from the COOK range. If the selected winner is not within range of our national home delivery service and is unable to collect their prize from a COOK shop for any reason, COOK reserves the right to select another winner. Please note, if the winner falls within our Home Delivery postcodes, rather than local delivery, the choice of meals may be limited.
11. By entering the Competition, entrants agree that COOK may use their personal data for administrative purposes connected to the Competition, and that COOK may contact entrants (including by email) for such purposes.
12. These Terms shall be governed by English law and, in the event of any dispute, COOK and each entrant hereby submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
