Terms and Conditions: Terms & Conditions ("the Terms") applicable to the Luxury Weekend In Salcombe prize competition ("the Competition")

  1. The Competition is organised by COOK Trading Ltd ("COOK") whose registered address is The COOK Kitchen, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10 3HH. By entering the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms.
  2. The Competition is open to residents of the UK and Channel Islands aged 18 or over. Employees and agents of COOK and their associated companies (including the families of such employees and agents) are not eligible to enter the Competition, nor is anyone connected with the Competition. The eligibility of any entrant is at COOK's sole discretion.
  3. All entries, whether made on the Website, in store or by post, must be received by COOK by 11.59pm on July 31st, 2013.
  4. Only one entry per household. No purchase necessary.
  5. COOK does not assume any responsibility, and cannot accept any liability, for lost, damaged or incomplete entries sent by post or submitted in store or for any lost or incomplete Website entries or any technical fault or failed electronic data transmission. Any and all such entries will be deemed invalid. Proof of despatch shall not be proof of entry.
  6. The prize-winner will be selected at random. COOK reserves the right to request written proof of age or identity of any entrant before they may claim a prize.
  7. The £300 of COOK food prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. The prize-winner will agree with COOK for collection and/or delivery of the food up to, but not exceeding, the prize amount of £300 before the end of 2013.
  8. Prize is one three night short break at Ferryside in East Portlemouth, for up to 8 people. Prize must be redeemed on a Friday-Monday weekend break between 13th September 2013 and 24th March 2014 inclusive, excluding the October Half Term/Christmas and New Year school holidays, subject to availability and not in conjunction with any other offer. The prize is non transferable and there is no cash alternative. Please quote COOK1 when claiming the prize, calling 01548 843773.
  9. The Salcombe Shooting School Air Rifle Shooting Experience is for 4 people only and must be booked in advance by calling 01548 842 727. Additional spaces can be booked at the prize winner’s expense.
  10. To redeem the South Sands Ferry return trips you must call Tricia Tucker on 01548 561 035 and quote ‘Salcombe Information COOK Competition’
  11. The name of the prize-winner may be used in publicity by COOK and/or Salcombe Information (including Coast & Country Cottages).
  12. By entering the Competition, entrants agree that COOK and Salcombe Information may use their personal data for administrative purposes connected to the Competition, and that COOK and Salcombe Information may contact entrants (including by email) for such purposes.
  13. These Terms shall be governed by English law and, in the event of any dispute, COOK and each entrant hereby submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
