Try it with:
- A meal in itself, so there’s no need to add anything if you want to keep it hassle-free
- If you’re entertaining, dress it up with a good sprinkling of parsley or coriander, a few fresh pomegranate seeds and some chopped pistachio nuts
- Or, for a real Persian supper, make a refreshing Shirazi salad by finally chopping cucumber, tomato and onion and dress with lemon juice. Then serve with flatbread
How We Make It At Our Kitchen
- Whole, skin-on chicken breasts are marinated in Persian spices and roasted in the oven
- Cumin, coriander, cardamom and some orange zest are added to caramelised garlic and onion, along with add lamb stock, which is reduced then sweetened with a spoonful of honey
- Finally, basmati rice is folded into the sauce along with some julienne carrot, flaked almond and pomegranate seeds

Chicken Breast (24%), Onions, Cooked Rice (17%), Water, Chickpeas, Orange Juice, Honey, Garlic, Lamb Glace [Celery], Carrots (2%), Vegetable Glace [Celery], Flaked Almonds [Nuts], Rapeseed Oil, Gluten Free Flour Blend, Raisins, Pomegranate Seeds, Coriander, Orange Peel, Ground Coriander, Salt, Ground Cumin, Cardamom, Garam Masala, Cinnamon, Cloves.
