  • Great for puddings or as a treat for afternoon tea
  • Just defrost in the fridge and serve

Try it with:

  • Best served warm but can be eaten hot or cold, simply warm briefly in the oven or microwave
  • Try it with crème fraiche, cream, clotted cream or a dairy-free ice cream to keep it vegan-friendly
  • Scatter some fresh blackberries over the top as a finishing touch

How We Make It At Our Kitchen

  • A warming wintry version of our Raspberry & Pistachio Torte, made with soya milk, almonds and polenta.
  • We’ve spiced up the mix and added Bramley apples and blackberries to the bake.
  • Once cooked, the torte is soaked with an orange syrup and scattered with hazelnuts.

AT COOK WE USE THE SAME INGREDIENTS YOU WOULD USE AT HOME.

We never put additives or preservatives into our food. We do occasionally use kitchen cupboard ingredients that include some additives in their sub-ingredients (for example Worcestershire Sauce used in our Spaghetti Bolognese, which contains Tamarind Extract).

Cooking/Serving Instructions

These cooking instructions are only a guide. Your appliance may have a personality of its own (or a different power rating). Please adjust accordingly.

Defrost Instructions:

BEST SERVED WARM BUT CAN BE EATEN HOT OR COLD 1. It is very important to remove the dessert from all packaging and place on a serving dish whilst it’s still frozen. You’ll find it much easier to handle. 2. Defrost for 5-6 hours in the fridge or 3 hours at room temperature. 3. To serve warm: From frozen - microwave on high for 3-4 mins (depending on the power of your microwave). From defrosted - microwave on high for 1 min 30 secs - 2 mins. Allow to stand for 1 minute before eating.
