AT COOK WE USE THE SAME INGREDIENTS YOU WOULD USE AT HOME.
We never put additives or preservatives into our food. We do occasionally use kitchen cupboard ingredients that include some additives in their sub-ingredients (for example Worcestershire Sauce used in our Spaghetti Bolognese, which contains Tamarind Extract).
These cooking instructions are only a guide. Your appliance may have a personality of its own (or a different power rating). Please adjust accordingly.
It is very important to remove the dessert from all packaging and place on a serving dish whilst it’s still frozen. You’ll find it much easier to handle. Defrost for 10-12 hours in the fridge or 5-6 hours at room temperature. If defrosted at room temperature ensure the dessert is returned to the fridge for at least 1 hour before serving as it must be served chilled, straight from the fridge. Please note, it’s called a “Mess” for a good reason: getting neat slices will be a challenge! Using a very sharp knife will definitely help, cleaning the blade in hot water between slices. Gently cut through the meringue pieces on top, then slice firmly through the cheesecake. Pile any lost pieces of meringue on top of the slice.In the unlikely event of there being any leftovers, keep in the fridge and eat within 48 hours.
