To make our chilli sauce we start by sweating off some onion, garlic, celery and carrots in a little rapeseed oil until soft. We then add a mild blend of cumin, coriander, smoked paprika and chilli along with some tomato puree and cook these out.
Next we add some chopped tomatoes, beef stock and diced red pepper. Once the sauce has come up to temperature we blend it into a smooth tomato sauce as some of our little customers prefer to not see too many vegetables in their food!
We then add our beef mince which is sourced from the UK and minced on site at our Kitchen in Kent. Once all the ingredients are in the sauce we bring it up to temperature and let it simmer until it is packed full of flavour!
AT COOK WE USE THE SAME INGREDIENTS YOU WOULD USE AT HOME.
We never put additives or preservatives into our food. We do occasionally use kitchen cupboard ingredients that include some additives in their sub-ingredients (for example Worcestershire Sauce used in our Spaghetti Bolognese, which contains Tamarind Extract). At our kitchen, we prepare food by hand using the same ingredients and techniques you would at home. We then freeze our meals at -35°C so it tastes freshly made when you cook it at home (no nasty additives or preservatives required). Most of our food can be heated from frozen (sometimes in minutes in your microwave). Check the instructions below.

Remove sleeve, pierce film. Place on microwaveable plate. Cook on full power.
2 mins 30 secs > stir gently & re-cover > 2 mins
Rest for 2 minutes before serving. Ensure the food is piping hot before serving.
Steam may be released when removing film lid.
