How We Make It At Our Kitchen

  • First our chefs fry chopped chorizo made from higher-welfare pork with red onion, add a little cayenne pepper, then deglaze the pan with red wine vinegar.
  • In goes red peppers, sweetcorn, oregano and coriander.
  • It’s all added to a milk and free-range egg mix.

AT COOK WE USE THE SAME INGREDIENTS YOU WOULD USE AT HOME.

We never put additives or preservatives into our food. We do occasionally use kitchen cupboard ingredients that include some additives in their sub-ingredients (for example Worcestershire Sauce used in our Spaghetti Bolognese, which contains Tamarind Extract). Whole Free Range Pasteurised Egg (54%), Chorizo (18%) (contains: Pork, Curing Salt (contains Sodium Nitrite & Potassium Nitrate), Sea Salt, Hungarian Paprika, Smoked Paprika, Water, Dextrose, Garlic, Starter Culture), Semi-Skimmed Milk (9%), Sweetcorn (6%), Red Peppers (5%), Red Wine Vinegar (contains: Antioxidant: Sulphur Dioxide), Red Onions (3%), Salt, Coriander, Cayenne Pepper, Oregano, Black Pepper.

Cooking Instructions

At our kitchen, we prepare food by hand using the same ingredients and techniques you would at home. We then freeze our meals at -35°C so it tastes freshly made when you cook it at home (no nasty additives or preservatives required). Most of our food can be heated from frozen (sometimes in minutes in your microwave). Check the instructions below.

These cooking instructions are only a guide. Your appliance may have a personality of its own (or a different power rating). Please adjust accordingly.

OVEN COOK FROM FROZEN

Oven:

Preheat oven. Remove sleeve and film. Place the tray directly onto a baking tray. Cook in the middle of the oven.

Oven Settings

Fan 180°C, Electric 200°C, Gas Mark 6.
20-22 mins
Rest for 2 mins before serving. Once cooked, run a teaspoon around the outside of each canape and carefully scoop them out. When cooking more than one pack of canapés at a time, allow extra cooking time.

Defrost Instructions:

Should this product defrost, keep refrigerated and eat within 48 hours. Follow the oven guidelines but cook for 14-16 mins.
