Our Home Delivery Service means we can deliver our remarkable frozen ready meals and entertaining food to homes nationwide - direct to your door. We have two services so to get your delivery details please enter your postcode above to find out exactly what service you will receive.  

 

FAQs

What is the delivery charge?

The delivery charge will either be £5 or £6.95 depending on the service in your delivery area. So we can deliver from our kitchen to yours (wherever it might be) we actually have two different services for home delivery. Our Local Delivery service delivery charge is £5 and it will arrive in a COOK van from one of our COOK shops. Our National Delivery service has a standard delivery charge of £6.95.

Delivery is free over a certain amount - which varies depending on your service. If you enter your postcode below you can see all the charges for your area!

How much do I need to order to get a home delivery?

This will be £30 or £35 depending on your delivery service - just enter your postcode to find out.

Do I need to be in to receive the delivery?

Unfortunately this also varies according to delivery service... from now on we'll answer in two halves!

National Delivery: You don't need to be in because the food arrives in insulated packaging that resembles a mini freezer. You do need however to fill out the 'delivery instructions' box at the checkout so that the delivery driver knows where is a safe place to put it, or which neighbour to leave it with.

Local Delivery: Yes, you do need to be in to receive your delivery because the food will not arrive in insulated packaging.

Can I place an order over the phone?

National Delivery: If you know someone who doesn’t have internet access then they can telephone us on 01732 759020 to place an order (Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm) for our National Home Delivery service. If you are in a local delivery area you will need to call the shop directly. To find out which delivery area you are in please enter your postcode on this page.

Local Delivery: Please get in touch with the shop that is fulfilling your order (enter your postcode to find out who that is!).

What are your normal delivery days?

National Delivery: Our standard delivery days are Tuesday to Friday and there is a premium service available that guarantees delivery before 1pm. Because of restrictions with our courier we can only offer Saturday with a significantly higher delivery charge.

Local Delivery: These vary so do enter your postcode above to find out.

How late can I order before I need the delivery?

National Delivery: Orders made online can be placed up until midnight 2 days before delivery If you are ordering over the phone we need a minimum of two days notice. You can select a delivery date up to 6 weeks in advance. However, please note we are unable to deliver on Sunday or Monday.

Local Delivery: Lead times vary depending on the delivery days available that week. At best it is an order before 4pm for delivery the next day service, but sometimes the next available delivery day will not be for a day or two. Please ring the shop who would fulfil your order if you want to discuss your delivery options.

How will my order arrive?

National Delivery: Your order will be packed in our special insulated boxes and dispatched by overnight courier to arrive with you frozen. They come in a cardboard box which can be flat packed and recycled; there is a 'wool cool' (a sheep's wool insulated lining) and some ice gels which can be defrosted and disposed of down the sink.

Local Delivery: We're able to be much more environmentally friendly with our local deliveries. They will arrive just in a COOK bag (which is why you need to be in to receive the order).

Can I include a gift message in with my delivery?

If you are sending a delivery as a present and would like to include a gift message then you can now do so during the checkout process. Simply tick 'I'd like to add a gift message' at the checkout and enter your message. We'll make sure that we don't include the price on the delivery note.

Can I recycle the packaging in which my National Delivery order has arrived?

Yes - as well as the outer cardboard box being recyclable the inner liner and gel packs are too. The outer box is made of cardboard and should be recyclable at any cardboard recycling centre or doorstep collection. The liner is made of sheeps wool and is bio-degradable. Simply empty the gel packs down the sink (the contents are completely non-toxic) then take them to your nearest recycling centre - they're made of the same material as a normal supermarket carrier bag.
