Terms and Conditions
The Competition is organised by COOK Trading Ltd ("COOK") whose registered address is The COOK Kitchen, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10 3HH.
- By entering the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms.
- The Competition is open to residents of the UK and Channel Islands aged 18 or over. Employees and agents of either COOK or Forest Holidays and their associated companies (including the families of such employees and agents) are not eligible to enter the Competition, nor is anyone connected with the Competition.
- The eligibility of any entrant is at COOK's sole discretion. All automated/bulk entries and entries from third parties will be disqualified.
- All entries, whether made on the website or in store, must be received by COOK by 11.59pm on Sunday 9th August 2014.
- Only one entry per household. No purchase necessary.
- COOK does not assume any responsibility, and cannot accept any liability, for lost, damaged or incomplete entries sent by post or submitted in store or for any lost or incomplete Website entries or any technical fault or failed electronic data transmission. Any and all such entries will be deemed invalid. Proof of despatch shall not be proof of entry.
- Winner must claim prize by contacting Forest Holidays within 30 days of receiving confirmation they have won.
- COOK reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select another winner if no communication has been made within this time.
- COOK reserves the right to request written proof of age or identity of any entrant before they may claim a prize.
The Prize:
- The prize includes a £500 voucher for Forest Holidays at any of their 9 locations (with the exception of Strathyre, Scotland) and up to£20 worth of COOK food per person, per day, with a maximum spend of £300.
- The Forest Holidays voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers and is only redeemable against a cabin booking and not any other extras, for example activities.
- The value of the Forest Holidays voucher can only be used against one booking and can be “topped up” if the value of the booking is greater, but no refund will be given for any value below the voucher level. Winners are responsible for their own transportation to their chosen location
- The COOK food prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
- Prize can be redeemed at any time of the year, including Christmas and New Year but the holiday must be taken before 31st July 2015, after which the prize cannot be redeemed.
- Winner must claim prize by contacting Forest Holidays within one month of receiving confirmation they have won.
- Prize booking will be subject to availability.
- The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
- The name of the prize-winner may be used in publicity by COOK and/or Forest Holidays.
- By entering the Competition, entrants agree that COOK and Forest Holidays may use their personal data for administrative purposes connected to the Competition, and that COOK and Forest Holidays may contact entrants (including by email) for such purposes.
These Terms shall be governed by English law and, in the event of any dispute, COOK and each entrant hereby submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Disclaimers
- Forest Holidays/Cook reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, at its discretion, and without notice.
- Forest Holidays/Cook reserves the right to terminate this competition at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.
- The information given in these Terms and Conditions is correct, but Forest Holidays/Cook reserve the right to change any of the above without prior notice.
- By entering the competition, entrants will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Any breach of these Terms by an entrant will void their entry. If a breach has occurred, but is discovered after the award of a prize, then the organisers may request the return of that prize.
