Garlic, chilli and prawns is a match made in heaven. Sweetness, heat and salty seafood in perfect harmony.

How We Make It

First we slowly fry garlic, ginger, lemongrass and chilli sauce to release their flavours. We then add fish sauce, lime juice, white wine vinegar, tomato purée, light soy sauce and a touch of sugar to give the sauce a balanced sweet and sour flavour. Lastly, the tiger prawns are garnished with stir fried red peppers, sliced garlic, water chestnuts and mangetout.

Did you know: Water chestnuts are not a nut, but instead come from aquatic plants that grow in marshy environments. Their unique ability to maintain their crunch even after cooking make them popular garnishes for Asian dishes.

AT COOK WE USE THE SAME INGREDIENTS YOU WOULD USE AT HOME.

We never put additives or preservatives into our food. We do occasionally use kitchen cupboard ingredients that include some additives in their sub-ingredients (for example Worcestershire Sauce used in our Spaghetti Bolognese, which contains Tamarind Extract).

Cooking/Serving Instructions

These cooking instructions are only a guide. Your appliance may have a personality of its own (or a different power rating). Please adjust accordingly.

Oven:

Preheat oven. Pierce film lid, place on a baking tray and cook in the centre of the oven.

Oven Settings

Fan 180°C, Electric 200°C, Gas Mark 6.
30-35 mins
Allow to stand for 1 min and stir well before serving. Ensure prawns are pink in colour and thoroughly cooked through.

Microwave:

Remove sleeve, pierce film. Cook on full power.

3 mins > stir & re-cover > 2 mins 30 secs
Allow to stand for 1 min and stir well before serving. Ensure prawns are pink in colour and thoroughly cooked through.

Defrost Instructions:

Should this product defrost, keep refrigerated and eat within 48 hours. Follow the microwave guidelines but cook for 2 mins, stir, 1 min.

Extra Warnings:

Steam may be released when removing film lid. Although every care has been taken to remove all pieces of shell, some may remain.
