Try It With:

  • Just leave at room temperature for 30 minutes, so you can take it out of the freezer as you sit down for the main course
  • Cut into slices with a sharp knife, and run it under a hot tap between cuts for perfect results
  • A scattering of fresh mint leaves would finish it off beautifully

Liz Dove has been our pudding maestro since the beginning of COOK, so there's not much she doesn't know about frozen puddings. These are her 3 golden rules:

  • Remove all packaging when frozen: Always take your pud out of its box and put it on your serving plate while it’s still frozen.
  • Serve at the correct temperature. Some puds are best served at room temperature, but cheesecakes are best chilled. Always check the instructions on the packaging.
  • Slice with a hot knife. Dip your knife in hot water to get a lovely, smooth slice.

How We Make It At Our Kitchen

  • This has 3 layers: the base is like a creamy, chocolatey rocky road
  • On that we spread a dark chocolate and mint mousse
  • The top layer is a choc chip and mint parfait, with a scattering of chocolate crumble for good measure!

Cooking/Serving Instructions

Defrost Instructions:

Serve frozen. 1. Remove all packaging and place on a serving dish. 2. For best results allow to soften slightly by leaving at room temperature for 30-35mins.   3. Slice using a hot, sharp knife. This product should be served straight from the freezer and is not suitable to eat from defrosted.
