How We Make It At Our Kitchen

  • We boil cannolicchi pasta, but not so much that it’s overdone when the dish is heated at home
  • For the sauce, we sweat onions and garlic in butter before adding flour, cayenne pepper and a touch of English mustard to create a roux. Then in goes milk, double cream and lobster stock
  • Finally we add the cheese and lobster, and top with a parsley, lemon and dill crumb

AT COOK WE USE THE SAME INGREDIENTS YOU WOULD USE AT HOME.

We never put additives or preservatives into our food. We do occasionally use kitchen cupboard ingredients that include some additives in their sub-ingredients (for example Worcestershire Sauce used in our Spaghetti Bolognese, which contains Tamarind Extract).

Cooking/Serving Instructions

These cooking instructions are only a guide. Your appliance may have a personality of its own (or a different power rating). Please adjust accordingly.

Oven:

Preheat oven. Remove sleeve and film. Place on a baking tray in the top of the oven.

Oven Settings

Fan 160°C , Electric 180°C, Gas Mark 4.
40-45 mins
Allow to stand for 2 mins.

Microwave:

Remove sleeve, pierce film. Place on microwaveable plate. Cook on full power.
850W
4 mins > stir well & re-cover > 3 mins
Allow to stand for 2 mins. If you’re in a hurry, the microwave is fine, but we’d always suggest you use the oven … it’s the only way you’ll get that lovely crispy top.

Defrost Instructions:

Should this product defrost, keep refrigerated and eat within 48 hours. Follow the oven guidelines but cook for 20 mins.

Extra Warnings:

Although every care has been taken to remove all shell, some may remain. Steam may be released when removing film.
