To Serve

  • To serve, leave to rest for two minutes
  • Then turn them out, upside down (careful, they’ll be hot!) and sprinkle with roughly chopped fresh parsley or torn basil leaves

How We Make It At Our Kitchen

  • Our chefs combine slow-roasted tomatoes, basil and parsley in a canape tray.
  • Then on goes a little pink onion marmalade.
  • Last but not least, it’s topped with what becomes the base when they are turned out: puff pastry.

AT COOK WE USE THE SAME INGREDIENTS YOU WOULD USE AT HOME.

We never put additives or preservatives into our food. We do occasionally use kitchen cupboard ingredients that include some additives in their sub-ingredients (for example Worcestershire Sauce used in our Spaghetti Bolognese, which contains Tamarind Extract).

Puff Pastry (36%) [Milk] (contains: Wheat Flour, Margarine (Vegetable Fat (Sustainable Palm), Water, Salt, Lemon Juice), Water, Salt), Oven Roasted Cherry Semi Dried Tomatoes (36%) (contain: Semi-Dried Cherry Tomatoes, Sunflower Oil, Salt, Garlic, Oregano, Acidity Regulator: Lactic Acid), Pink Onion Marmalade (18%) (contains: Rosanna Pink Onions, Balsamic Vinegar, Light Brown Sugar, Malt Vinegar, Tapioca Starch, Salt), Free Range Pasteurised Egg Yolk, Parsley (3%), Basil (2%).

Cooking/Serving Instructions

These cooking instructions are only a guide. Your appliance may have a personality of its own (or a different power rating). Please adjust accordingly.

OVEN COOK FROM FROZEN

Oven:

Preheat oven. Remove sleeve and film. Leave the canapés in the tray and place on a baking tray in the centre of the oven.

Oven Settings

Fan 180°C, Electric 200°C, Gas Mark 6.
16-18 mins
Allow to rest for 2 mins before serving.Tarte tatins are cooked upside down so, once they’re done, flip the tray onto a board (careful, it will be hot!) and pop each one out by pushing the circular base. Then transfer to your serving dish. When cooking more than one pack of canapés at a time, allow extra cooking time.

Defrost Instructions:

Should this product defrost, keep refrigerated and eat within 48 hours. Follow the oven guidelines but cook for 12 -13 mins.
