  • A sort of fancy Greek shepherd’s pie, really, but with layers of roasted aubergine, potato slices instead of mash, and a creamy ricotta sauce. It’s comforting, nourishing and packed with flavour
  • Ricotta in the sauce means it’s not too heavy, and the mint makes it nice and fresh
  • We make the mince ourselves from prime leg of lamb

Try it with:

  • Just a simple green salad
  • Go Greek and try it with a salad of tomato and feta
  • Perfect served with our Creamed Spinach

How We Make It At Our Kitchen

  • Quality leg of lamb is minced in-house and braised, then added to a rich tomato sauce and lots of mint
  • The aubergines are roasted with oil and cumin, to reduce the water content and lock in the taste
  • The ricotta makes for a deliciously light cheese sauce, and there’s a Cheddar crumb on top, which gives it some lovely colour when you cook it at home

Cooking Instructions

At our kitchen, we prepare food by hand using the same ingredients and techniques you would at home. We then freeze our meals at -35°C so it tastes freshly made when you cook it at home (no nasty additives or preservatives required). Most of our food can be heated from frozen (sometimes in minutes in your microwave). Check the instructions below.
