Tell Me More

  • This is a meal in itself – the brown rice will keep you fuller for longer and adds a lovely nutty taste
  • A rich chilli made with garlic, onion, chilli flakes, cinnamon and smoked paprika
  • Packed with goodness, it’s topped with kale, roasted veg and kidney and cannellini beans

Try It With:

  • It’s a full meal in itself, but you could add some sliced red chillies to give it some added fire.
  • Some plain yoghurt and sliced avocado on the side is a lovely addition.
  • Try it with some fresh chopped coriander and a wedge of lime

*This recipe is made with ingredients most vegans would approve of and is part of our growing range of vegan-friendly dishes. Although we can't claim official vegan certification (as we don't have a designated area in the COOK Kitchen), we know plenty of vegans who would happily eat it.

How We Make It At Our Kitchen

  • Yellow peppers, red onions and Portobello mushrooms are prepared by hand, then marinated and roasted with the sweet potato.
  • Garlic is fried in our Great Taste Award-winning rapeseed oil, then the onions are cooked off with a blend of spices, so they release their flavours.
  • Also added to the sauce is vegetable stock and tomatoes. It’s then all simmered to let all the flavours develop and deepen.

We then freeze our meals at -35°C so it tastes freshly made when you cook it at home (no nasty additives or preservatives required). Most of our food can be heated from frozen (sometimes in minutes in your microwave). Check the instructions below.
