We do occasionally use kitchen cupboard ingredients that include some additives in their sub-ingredients (for example Worcestershire Sauce used in our Spaghetti Bolognese, which contains Tamarind Extract). Double Cream [Milk], Brown Sugar, Self Raising Flour [Wheat Gluten], Dates (12%), Butter [Milk] (12%), Water, Free Range Pasteurised Egg, Sugar, Unsalted Butter [Milk], Coffee Essence, Caramelised Sugar Syrup, Bicarbonate of Soda, Vanilla Extract, Ground Ginger [Sulphites].

Vanilla Extract contains: Extract of Pure Bourbon Vanilla Beans (Water, Alcohol (35% Vol.), Vanilla Bean Extractives), Sugar. Dates contain: Dates, Rice Flour, Cottonseed Oil. Coffee essence contains: Sugar, Water, Chicory, Coffee. Self-Raising Flour contains: Fortified Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin) Raising Agents (Monocalcium, Sodium Bicarbonate).

Cooking Instructions

At our kitchen, we prepare food by hand using the same ingredients and techniques you would at home. We then freeze our meals at -35°C so it tastes freshly made when you cook it at home (no nasty additives or preservatives required). Most of our food can be heated from frozen (sometimes in minutes in your microwave). Check the instructions below.

These cooking instructions are only a guide. Your appliance may have a personality of its own (or a different power rating). Please adjust accordingly.

OVEN COOK FROM FROZEN

Oven:

Pre-heat oven. Remove sleeve and film. Cook in the centre of the oven.

Oven Settings

Fan 160°C, Electric 180°C, Gas Mark 4.
30-35 mins
Once cooked ensure the sponge is firm to the touch in the centre. Allow to stand for 2 mins.

Extra Warnings:

Although every care has been taken to remove all date stones, some may remain.

Preheat oven. Remove sleeve and film lid. Cook on a baking tray in the centre of the oven.

Oven Settings

Fan 160°C, Electric 180°C, Gas Mark 4.
50-55 mins
Ensure the sponge is firm to the touch in the centre. Allow to stand for 2 mins.
