Cooking Instructions

At our kitchen, we prepare food by hand using the same ingredients and techniques you would at home. We then freeze our meals at -35°C so it tastes freshly made when you cook it at home (no nasty additives or preservatives required). Most of our food can be heated from frozen (sometimes in minutes in your microwave). Check the instructions below.

These cooking instructions are only a guide. Your appliance may have a personality of its own (or a different power rating). Please adjust accordingly.

Defrost Instructions:

It is very important to remove the dessert from all packaging and place on a serving dish whilst it’s still frozen. You’ll find it much easier to handle. Defrost for 10-12 hours in the fridge or 5-6 hours at room temperature. If defrosted at room temperature ensure the dessert is returned to the fridge for at least 1 hour before serving as it must be served chilled, straight from the fridge. Please note, it’s called a “Mess” for a good reason: getting neat slices will be a challenge! Using a very sharp knife will definitely help, cleaning the blade in hot water between slices. Gently cut through the meringue pieces on top, then slice firmly through the cheesecake. Pile any lost pieces of meringue on top of the slice. In the unlikely event of there being any leftovers, keep in the fridge and eat within 48 hours.
