Tell Me More

  • Our latest cocktail pavlova for grown-ups, new for Christmas 2019
  • Prepared by hand by our chefs at COOK Puddings in Somerset
  • Just defrost in the fridge and serve

Try it with:

  • Serve with coffee ice cream or whipped cream
  • Liz, the founder of COOK Puddings, likes it with a shot of vodka straight from the freezer … but that’s not compulsory!

Our indulgent, hand-prepared puddings are frozen and need defrosting first (please check the pack)

How We Make It At Our Kitchen

  • Our chefs make a light chocolate meringue.
  • The whipped cream is loaded with vodka and coffee and spread over the meringue, then on goes the chocolate, coffee and vodka sauce over the cream, which is topped with a smattering of chocolate nibs.
  • Then it’s oh-so-carefully rolled up and topped with a little coffee sauce.

Cooking Instructions

At our kitchen, we prepare food by hand using the same ingredients and techniques you would at home. We then freeze our meals at -35°C so it tastes freshly made when you cook it at home (no nasty additives or preservatives required). Most of our food can be heated from frozen (sometimes in minutes in your microwave). Check the instructions below.

These cooking instructions are only a guide. Your appliance may have a personality of its own (or a different power rating). Please adjust accordingly.

Defrost Instructions:

FOR BEST RESULTS DEFROST IN THE FRIDGE AND EAT AS SOON AS YOU CAN. 1. It is very important to remove the dessert from all packaging and place on a serving dish whilst it’s still frozen. You’ll find it much easier to handle. 2. Defrost for 10-11 hours in the fridge or 5-6 hours at room temperature. If defrosted at room temperature ensure dessert is returned to the fridge for at least 1 hour before serving. 3. Eat as soon as possible once thawed. In the unlikely event of there being any leftovers, keep in the fridge and eat within 48 hours.
