  • Our Bread Sauce is also able to be cooked on the hob if you do not have a microwave
  • The bread sauce needs to be defrosted first before decanting into a pan and heated over a medium heat for 10-12 mins until the bread sauce is thickened and bubbling. Rest for 3 mins before serving.

Ingredients

AT COOK WE USE THE SAME INGREDIENTS YOU WOULD USE AT HOME.

We never put additives or preservatives into our food. We do occasionally use kitchen cupboard ingredients that include some additives in their sub-ingredients (for example Worcestershire Sauce used in our Spaghetti Bolognese, which contains Tamarind Extract). Semi-Skimmed Milk, Sourdough Breadcrumbs (19%) (contain: Wheat Flour (With Calcium, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Durum Wheat Semolina, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Yeast, Salt, Barley Malt Extract, Dried Wheat Sour Dough, Baking Agent (Wheat Flour, Malted Wheat Flour, Thickener (Guar Gum)), Onions (13%), Double Cream (11%) [Milk], Salt, Thyme, White Pepper, Cloves, Bay leaf.

Cooking Instructions

At our kitchen, we prepare food by hand using the same ingredients and techniques you would at home. We then freeze our meals at -35°C so it tastes freshly made when you cook it at home (no nasty additives or preservatives required). Most of our food can be heated from frozen (sometimes in minutes in your microwave). Check the instructions below.

These cooking instructions are only a guide. Your appliance may have a personality of its own (or a different power rating). Please adjust accordingly.

Oven:

Defrost the bread sauce and decant into a saucepan. Cook over a medium heat for 10 -12 mins until thickened and bubbling. Allow to rest for 3 mins before serving.

Microwave:

Remove sleeve and pierce film lid. Cook on full power.

3 mins > stir gently & re-cover > 1 min 30 secs
