How We Make It At Our Kitchen

  • Made with roast chicken thigh, which is full of flavour and great for canapés.
  • The chicken works wonderfully with harissa, a classic North African spiced paste.
  • We also add natural yoghurt, a squeeze of lemon, spinach, cranberries, feta and pistachio nuts.

Ingredients

AT COOK WE USE THE SAME INGREDIENTS YOU WOULD USE AT HOME.

We never put additives or preservatives into our food. We do occasionally use kitchen cupboard ingredients that include some additives in their sub-ingredients (for example Worcestershire Sauce used in our Spaghetti Bolognese, which contains Tamarind Extract).

Puff Pastry (45%) (Wheat Flour, Butter (Milk), Water, Salt), Chicken Thigh Meat (27%), Natural Yoghurt [Milk] (Modified Starch, Stabiliser: Pectins), Spinach (7%), Feta Cheese [Milk], Harissa Paste (2%) (Water, Sunflower Oil, Paprika Flakes, Garlic Puree, Course Sea Salt, Ground Cumin, Paprika Oil (Colour: Paprika Extract), Crushed Chilli Flakes, Smoked Paprika, Dried Rose Petals, Acidity Regulator: Citric Acid, Ground Black Pepper, Ground Cinnamon, Ground Coriander, Ground Pimento), Sweetened Dried Cranberries (2%) (Sugar, Sunflower Oil), Pistachios [Nuts], Lemon Juice, Rapeseed Oil, Salt, Coriander, Black Pepper.

Cooking/Serving Instructions

These cooking instructions are only a guide. Your appliance may have a personality of its own (or a different power rating). Please adjust accordingly.

12 Canapes

*NOT SUITABLE FOR MICROWAVES*
OVEN COOK FROM FROZEN

Oven:

Preheat oven. Remove sleeve and film. Place the tray directly onto a baking tray. Cook in the top of the oven.

Oven Settings

Fan 180°C, Electric 200°C, Gas Mark 6.
22-25 mins
Rest for 2 mins before serving. Once cooked, run a teaspoon around the outside of each canape and carefully scoop them out. When cooking more than one pack of canapés at a time, allow extra cooking time.

Defrost Instructions:

Should this product defrost, keep refrigerated and eat within 48 hours. Follow the oven guidelines but cook for 18-20 mins.

Extra Warnings:

Although every care has been taken to remove all bones some may remain.
