All About Indian

Posted on 9 July 2014

Our fabulous £10 Indian Takeaway for 2 is back - here's a quick reminder of some of the delicious Indian recipes we've developed recently and the best way to serve them, including a little video showing you how to make your own flatbreads.

Chicken Rogan Josh - Tender chicken breast in sweet and spicy sauce made with cherry tomatoes. Shown here with a dollop of creme fraiche, some rocket leaves, a sprinkling of Nigella seeds (also known as Black Cumin) and some crispy onions. All of our curries would benefit from these little extras!

Bombay Potatoes -
Bombay-spiced potatoes topped with a sweet onion chutney with tumeric, cumin, coriander and nigella seeds

Beef Madras -
Tender beef in an intense Madras curry sauce made with garam masala, tumeric and coriander cooked slowly with sliced onions, ginger and ground almonds.

Gobi Curry -
Spiced cauliflower florets in a mild and sweet coconut curry sauce with plump green peas and cripsy onions.

Paneer Curry -
Cubes of paneer, tossed in tumeric and cumin and fried until golden. Served in a mildly spiced red lentil daal with peppers and spinach.

Here is Lyndsay making super easy and super delicious flatbreads - these would go perfectly with all of our curries instead of naan bread
