  • Our take on the classic jerk chicken, so there’s a little kick of chilli in there, but nothing too spicy
  • A whole, juicy chicken breast per portion
  • All of our chicken is British and Red Tractor approved

Try it with:

  • For a simple summer supper, serve with salad and a big wedge of lime
  • For a more substantial meal, serve with brown rice and a generous sprinkling of shredded spring onions and fresh coriander
  • Carefully slice the chicken breast – it will be hot! – and serve the whole thing in a wrap with some rocket, a dollop of fresh yoghurt and, if you like it hot, a few slices of chilli

How We Make It At Our Kitchen

  • Whole chicken breasts, with the skin on, are marinated in mango chutney, honey, all-spice, ginger and thyme then roasted in the oven to give them a spicy, sticky glaze
  • We roast butternut squash, and red and yellow peppers in spices before being mixed with red kidney beans
  • Finally, a generous amount of coriander gives it a burst of freshness

Cooking/Serving Instructions

OVEN COOK FROM FROZEN

Oven:

Preheat oven. Pierce film lid, place on a baking tray and cook in the centre of the oven. 10 mins before the end of cooking, remove the film lid.

Oven Settings

Fan 170°C, Electric 190°C, Gas Mark 5.
40 mins > remove film > 10 mins
Allow to rest for 2 mins before serving. To serve: remove the chicken breast (careful, it will be hot) and give the rest of the dish a good stir. Then spoon onto a plate and finally replace the chicken back on top.

Defrost Instructions:

Should this product defrost, keep refrigerated and eat within 48 hours. Follow the oven guidelines but cook for 20 mins, remove film, 10 mins.

Extra Warnings:

Steam may be released when removing film lid. Although every care has been taken to remove all bones, some may remain.
