How We Make It At Our Kitchen

  • We slow cook Dingley dell diced pork until its really tender
  • Our chefs fry some leeks and bacon together to add to the sauce along with crushed juniper berries
  • Diced apple gets added to the sauce with brandy, apple juice and cider. They simmer this until the apple is very soft and has almost completely disappeared into the sauce

Ingredients

AT COOK WE USE THE SAME INGREDIENTS YOU WOULD USE AT HOME.

We never put additives or preservatives into our food. We do occasionally use kitchen cupboard ingredients that include some additives in their sub-ingredients (for example Worcestershire Sauce used in our Spaghetti Bolognese, which contains Tamarind Extract).

Pork (34%), Onions, Smoked Back Bacon (8%), Apple Juice, Leeks (6%), Cider (6%) [Sulphites], Crème Fraîche [Milk], Brandy, Rapeseed Oil, Garlic, Bramley Apples (3%), Roast Chicken Stock, Gluten Free Flour, Butter [Milk], Water, English Mustard [Wheat Gluten], Parsley, Juniper Berries, Salt, Black Pepper, Sage.

Smoked Back Bacon contains: Pork, Salt, Water, Preservatives (Sodium Nitrites, Potassium Nitrate), Antioxidant (Sodium Ascorbate). Brandy contains: Brandy, Colour: Caramel. Cider contains: Medium Cider, Preservative: Potassium Metabisulphite. Roast Chicken Stock contains: Roast Chicken, Maltodextrin, Salt, Natural Flavouring, Chicken Fat, Sugar, Lemon Juice (from concentrate), Onion Powder. Gluten Free Flour Blend contains: Rice, Potato, Tapioca, Maize, Buckwheat. Cooking/Serving Instructions

Oven:

Preheat oven. Pierce film lid, place on a baking tray and cook in the centre of the oven.

Oven Settings

Fan 170°C, Electric 190°C, Gas Mark 5.
35 mins
Allow to rest for 2 mins before serving.

Microwave:

Remove sleeve and pierce film lid. Cook on full power.
850W
3 mins > stir & re-cover > 3 mins
Allow to rest for 2 mins before serving.

Defrost Instructions:

Should this product defrost, keep refrigerated and eat within 48 hours. Follow the oven guidelines but cook for 20 mins.

Extra Warnings:

Steam may be released when removing film lid.
