Tell Me More

  • The chicken is marinated for four hours so it’s full of flavour
  • Why two mustards? Wholegrain gives a lovely visual; Dijon gives a bit of a kick
  • We caramelise red onions by sweating in red wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar and demerara sugar

Try it with:

  • This is a great all-rounder and works as well with rice as it does with Creamy Mash or duchess potatoes
  • Some steamed greens on the side are a classic addition

How We Make It At Our Kitchen

  • The chicken is marinated for four hours in wholegrain and Dijon mustard before it’s roasted in the oven
  • Then the COOK chefs make a velouté sauce using chicken stock and wholegrain and Dijon mustard
  • Red onions are sweated with red wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar and demerara sugar for about half an hour until caramelised. When they are added as a garnish, they not only look great, but really cut through the mustard, making this a wonderfully rounded dish

Cooking Instructions

At our kitchen, we prepare food by hand using the same ingredients and techniques you would at home. We then freeze our meals at -35°C so it tastes freshly made when you cook it at home (no nasty additives or preservatives required). Most of our food can be heated from frozen (sometimes in minutes in your microwave). Check the instructions below.

These cooking instructions are only a guide. Your appliance may have a personality of its own (or a different power rating). Please adjust accordingly.
